Do you believe in destiny – Boucherville National Park engagement session

The wedding industry heavily revolves around the bride therefore nearly all of my inquiries are from women. That’s just the way it is. So when I do receive an inquiry from a guy, I get all excited! It tells me that our groom is not only interested in the photography aspect of his wedding day, he actually cares and wishes to help. We all agree that the bride has enough pressure in coordinating everything so any assistance would be appreciated.

This is precisely what happened because Javier agreed to help out Johanna in the search of a photographer. Eventually Javier found yours truly and we started exchanging e-mails. The twist in this story was that Johanna started her own search anyway and stumbled upon my website as well. Apparently these two were working independently and they had no idea that they both wanted the same photographer! Trust me when I say this couple has caused me tremendous confusion and grief because I was forced to choose one, or at least that’s what I thought… Imagine the relief I felt after learning that these two were actually engaged! We still laugh at what happened till this day.

I always encourage my clients to keep shopping despite finding me but in Johanna’s case, I told her straight up don’t bother because I was destined to be there for her wedding day.

Here we are, many months later, reunited once again for their engagement photos. There are two things that I have learned during this shoot. The first thing is that both Johanna and Javier really, really love summer and everything that comes with it, the blazing sun and the warm temperature. I was told that summer reminded them of their beach days in Venezuela. The other thing is that I think I developed an obsession in stripping off my male clients from their clothing during my photo sessions so consider yourself warned!
